		<description>They're kinda weak for casual games - it's hard to separate the wheat from the chaff when you're browsing.  Whereas the portals are mostly well set up, with top 10 lists, good categorization, filtering out of bad games, etc.

The vast bulk of casual game sales are through portals, and to a much lesser extent, developer's own sites.  General-purpose shareware-y sites like download.com are very minor in this biz.  For instance, Bonnie's Bookstore on Download.com has 335 downloads to date.  That's well under 1% of total downloads of the game (weeeeeelllll under)</description>
